Sixth Sense Technology

A generation comes by when young minds find out the use of things in other creative ways. The same thing has been brought upon by Pranav Mistry, an Indian, who has used the neurons in his minds to develop a device which can project a screen on any surface and can be manipulated by revolving your fingers on the air. Pranav used a simple technique of wiring different components used by us in our daily life and made his new creation. This is what we can do if we sought to learn the various needs of the artifact. The Sixth Sense Technology has now enabled us to use computers and stuffs anywhere in a big screen and also use them by the movement of our hands.

Pranav Mistry demonstrated the power of the Sixth Sense Technology in the MIT Media Lab in 2009. He has also given many seminars and intervies explaining about the working of the gadget.

The prototype of the gadget was made by using some simple machines such as projectors, an android smartphone, color markers, sensors, a Sensing Camera and some wires. Pranav has un-boxed the codes for the prototype of Sixth Sense online which can be used by developers and anyone who wishes make his own Sixth Sense device.

It is said the we have gone beyond the limits of our senses and it's the finale. But as we move on to the new generation, we find that there is no limit to human senses. Flexibility, Liability, usability, viability everything is on the go and can never be exhausted.

Mathematics - Love those Numbers

Mathematics is the science of numbers. We use a large deal of numbers in this generation. These numbers must be utilised in\for proper manner or purpose. This makes the need to study mathematics. Mathematics in daily life is a common proverb, widely used these these days. As mathematics is the most important part of one's life because everything in our daily life activities include numbers and we need to know its importance and also its proper use.

Mathematics is all about calculation. The basic principles of maths arithmetic are addition and subtraction. Please note that multiplication is consistent

ly adding and division is consistently subtracting. So we learn many new techniques of solving problems in mathematics. But their are certain sets of rules which denies us solving a calculation mindlessly and falsely. So we must take care of the rules and steps while solving a mathematical problem.

Mathematics has many subjects inside itself.

1)  Real numbers, it includes all the numbers from integers to fractions to irrational and rational numbers. We will discuss everything of this in subject discussion page coming soon.

2)  Geometry, We can see many objects around us. every object has a shape of its own and Geometry deals in finding the areas, volumes etc. of all these objects using certain formulaes.

3)  Statistics, In this subject we deal with the grouping of numbers, arrangement of data, and the picture of charts and graphs. As we know the proverb, "a picture is worth a thousand words".

4)  Trignometry, This is the most important subject in maths. It is all based on triangles. proper study of trignometry can let us find the heights of big buildings and many more. Trignometry is very vast and has a wide use in this world.

5)  Calculus, diffrentiation and integration falls into this category. As the name suggests, one means to differentiate and the second means to concatenate. As I have not studied them till now, but we will have a discussion in the Subject Discussion page.

6)  Probability, It is the game of chances. This is most mysterious and logical subject in the whole of mathematics. It has many secrets which are yet to be revealed and scientists say that, if we find all the secrets of probability , then we can control the chances on our own.

Mathematics has its own fun. It makes a very friendly environment and makes a person think how to solve a problem. Sometimes we do not get solutions and therefore we use all kinds of formulaes to get the solution. Mathematics is really a great subject and every human being must know the value, power and the use of mathematics in the daily life.

Biology - Life, Nature And Existence

It is the most interesting and my favourite subject as I have got the best biology teacher I can get ever in my school. Though, my interest is not in biology for future purpose but I love reading it. Biology has mysteries hidden which makes us think with open mind. Lets get this done now. Biology is the biography of the biosphere around us. As a biography has the details of its writer, as such biology deals with the study of all the details of this beautiful flora-fauna rich biosphere.

Biology has many branches, botany (study of plants) , zoology (study of animals), anatomy (study of living things and their structure), genetics ( study of genes, heredity etc.), medicine ( study of all types of healing methods by medicines), cell biology ( study of cell in different organisms), microbiology (study of micro-organisms).

Biology has its own world. As it comprises the whole world, it makes sure that no living unit is harmed. We have seen that many species have become extinct, those species were once very beautiful and we cannot imagine how they looked and amazing they were. Dinosaurs, whose fossils were found beneath the earth's surface, after many tests were found to be dead because of meteor attacks on earth many years ago. But there are many mysteries on how they died? biology also deals with this and I like this. This is the joy of mysteries I was talking about.

The chapters of biology are very vast and unending. They define each and everything. And the most important and greatest milestone of Biology is that it classified different organisms into diffe




rent groups. It was the most important thing to be done as grouping animals help in identifying different characteristics of animals more swiftly and shapingly.

With biology you can shape the new generation. make the existing generation live better and the future generation expect better from us.

Chemistry - Chemical Mysteries

This branch of science deals with the handling of chemicals. In this subject all the irreversible changes occuring around us falls. Chemistry is all chemicals and its uses and all the elements and all other stuffs related. According to me, it is very interesting when you read and perform it yourself, otherwise it is a very boring subject if you are just reading it for pleasure. Chemistry is a very vast subject as many things are still to be discovered in it.

The periodic table of  elements lays out the substances from which the earth is made. It has 118 or above elements in the periodic table. Many elements are still to be discovered. These elements make our world. They are the gold for which layout our money, and it is the paper money which we spend, it is the oxygen because of which we are alive, it is the nitrogen because of which plants survive, and all metabolic activities take because of these elements.

In chemistry, we come across many chemical names which are sometimes hard to pronounce too. These chemicals are meant to react with each other in order to make various activities perform correctly. Without these reactions, there would be a unbalance. it is necessary for the elements to react with each other.  Or else there would be no formation of substances in our environment.

"We need new things (ideas) so we need to react first".

My favourite topic in chemistry is the formation of atoms, its structure, its working etc. All the things in this world are made up of the tiniest building block of matter called as atoms. Atoms are the smallest particles present in any substance. All living and non-living objects are made up of atoms. The formation of atoms and its structure is very interesting and bang-on (mindblowingly thoughtful). Atoms are made up of three particles named as electrons (-ve charge), protons (+ve charge) and neutron (no charge). These three charges are responsible for existence of matter. This subject is very vast i would like to share with you my ideas on it. We will discuss on this in subject discussions page coming soon.

Some days earlier, one of friend was having a problem on chemical bonding. I don't actually know what the doubt was, because of various reasons. But I will clear all the doubts you ask. Please put all the doubts in the comments and I will try to explain them to you.

Physics - Everything Everywhere

Physics, as the name is , we can think of any physical things happening around us. These all physical things are kept in the category of the physics subjects. Physical activities can be identified by seeing non-reversible or non-reactive things in the nature. Such as light, We get light but we cannot give the same light back again or electricity. Physics is a vast subject which makes us think about the physical changes occuring in the environment.

Let's lay out the basic subjects we learn in physics and its importance.
1)  Electricity - It is the most important subject in all physics. I think we cannot imagine life without electricity.  In order to use light, there is need to study what electricity actually is, how it is formed and its forms and uses in various substances. Electricity is the flow of electrons in a circuit. We will study all these in the subject discussion page of my blog.

2)  Optics - Optics deal with the study of light. Light helps us in various ways. Light helps us in seeing things. We can see this colourful world because of the light. The things we can see are based on two rules of reflection of light.(the incident ray, reflected ray, and the normal lies on the same plane and angle of incidence - angle of reflection.) Optics lays down all the rules of our eyes and its functioning.

3)  Magnetism - Magnets are substances which attract and repel. If we recall, our Earth acts as a giant magnet. In a magnet, like poles repel each other and unlike poles attract each other. Magnets have a very important aspect and use in the modern gadgets we use everyday.

4)  Sound - We all know that we can hear. We hear melodious and harsh sounds everyday. We put our headphones on and get lost in another world where sound is the only thing we can see and hear. Physics, lays out the mysteries of sounds and tells us all its secrets. Sound is produces by vibrations. A longitudinal wave is produced sound is produced from a vibrating object.

5)  Motion, Gravitation, Force - How do we move? Why do we move? The three laws of motion made by the great scientist Newton are responsible for the study of motion. We wonder why everything goes down but not up. The gravity of earth is responsible for this which acts against an upward moving object. All this are a part of physics.

Physics has the fun of its own. It make us think  Why?  and How?  If we engulf ourselves with physics then we find ourselves in a new world. All those mathematics fills your hearts and makes you think.

Energy and its importance

Energy is a thing ,or say, a quantity which is present all around us. Energy is the quantity of work. This is what we learn in our physics book. There are many types of energy. Mechanical energy, Electric energy, Wind energy etc. These are something which we see constantly in our daily lives. Energy is the capacity of doing work. For a man, typing something in the computer needs energy, as I am doing. Everything which moves possess energy. A moving body does work against many things, such as friction, etc. and releases energy at the same time. Therefore we can say, for doing a work we must have some energy inside us which must be released to do that particular work.

For acquiring energy we must eat food and drink much water (for humans). It is said that if we don't drink water for a day or two then you can die, this was said to me when I was a small kid. So I suggest you drink water and eat food and complete your diet and the proper time.

Sources of energy would mean that from where we can get energy. For human beings. energy can be procured by eating food. But there are many other energy which are important for the proper functioning of humans in this modern world. We need electric energy which we get from nuclear reactors and many other sources. Humans are the most developed species in this nature and they have found the way to procure energy from the wonders of nature. So, we can say that the different sources of energy, such as, nuclear reactors wind mills etc, are of the greatest inventions in this beautiful world. and we all must know its value.

Also remember ..... Energy can neither be created nor destroyed (Law of conservation of energy, read in my science book).

Science And Technology

Science is undefined as it is present all around us.Science is change in phenomena around us. This is what I read when I was a small kid. Everything we see around us is science. From the creation of this universe about trillions of years earlier to the modern gadgets we use in our daily life, is a part of science. Science is very user - friendly .It makes people's efforts less and make them strive for more. It is the nature around us. Science provides you with everything you use. But the most important thing is that science has no value if we do not utilize its extent.

" The extent of science is far beyond the years ".

But we must also remember that science is nothing if we had not discovered it. Science needs someone to help itself make useful. And those 'someone' are the human beings. Without the discovery and proper utilization of science by the human beings, science is useless. We have invented many things using science, ranging from fire to the computers of

the modern world.

" Science was not invented it was discovered".

We all are grateful to science for its various things it gave us especially nature itself. Lets get to Technology

Technology is the result of proper utilization of science by humans. We see things today which seems amazing to our eyes and we use to say " The technology has risen" or something like that. Technology is something which came from science after we put on some effort into it. We have always been successful in our technologies and are growing it more and more. But one day a stage will come when science has to be given something from us. And at that time science won't help us.

" Science doesn't grow on trees. But we can extract something from it and make the technology from the tree"
